Building Energy Efficiency

Since 2009, the application of rock wool produced by rock wool production line equipment in buildings has developed rapidly, with annual production capacity increasing from less than 200,000 tons to nearly 2 million tons today, and product quality has also improved significantly.

Rock wool produced by rock wool production line equipment, as class A fireproof material, is widely used in external wall insulation systems. Abroad, mature product standards and system certification guidelines have already been formed. In China, rock wool, as a building insulation material, particularly in public buildings and high-rise buildings with high requirements for fire prevention and civilian building energy efficiency, its usage has been steadily increasing. The application of rock wool in construction includes three forms: external wall insulation, fireproof separation bands, and roof insulation.

External Wall Insulation System

It is suitable for energy-saving insulation projects of newly built, expanded, or renovated residential and public building external walls, as well as energy-saving insulation projects of industrial buildings and existing buildings, particularly suitable for public buildings with high requirements for fire prevention, insulation, and energy efficiency.

Fireproof Separation Band

It carries and separates molten insulation materials, controls the total amount of combustibles within the separation area; prevents the spread of flames inside the system; improves or maintains the structural stability of the system's protective surface. In the event of a fire, it can prevent or slow down the attack of the fire source on the internal and external insulation systems directly affected by the fire, prevent the flame from spreading outward through the external insulation system, and maintain the stable existence of its own fireproof structure, effectively preventing the spread of flames within the system.

Roof Insulation System

Using high-strength fireproof rock wool panel as the building roof insulation layer and load-bearing layer, combined with flexible waterproof membranes, vapor insulation layers, and system fasteners to form a roof system, it is commonly used in industrial plants, airports, shopping malls, stadiums, and storage facilities, etc., steel structure or concrete flat roofs. This system is suitable for various climatic conditions and is a new type of roof system with functions such as safety, fire prevention, energy saving, sound absorption, and sound insulation.

Industrial Insulation

Rock wool produced by rock wool production line equipment, as a new type of insulation material, also has a wide range of applications in the field of industrial insulation. Since rock wool panel is a semi-hard material, it can be bent within 30°. Large equipment, whether square or round, can use rock wool insulation materials to achieve good insulation effects. The dual characteristics of this semi-hard, soft material of rock wool can also be used for insulation of small equipment or large-diameter pipes, both bendable and very smooth, making construction very convenient. Large pipes can be wrapped with rock wool for insulation, and small pipes can use rock wool shells. In cases where construction is inconvenient, such as indoors or on pipe racks, pipe shell construction is very convenient. Other parts such as tees, valves, elbows, etc., can also use preformed rock wool insulation blocks.

Shipbuilding

With the development of the shipbuilding industry, the materials used in Chinese ship cabins have gone through a process from simple to complex, from low level to high level, and from non-standard to standard. Composite rock wool panel cabin materials, as a new type of non-combustible cabin material, have been widely used in the Chinese shipbuilding industry.

Agricultural Application

The application of rock wool produced by rock wool production line equipment in agriculture, has developed alongside the continuous maturity of soil-less cultivation technology and has a history of more than 100 years.
